Joely is a first year masters student in the Biological Sciences Department at Northern Arizona University. She is currently studying the comparative genomics between parasites and their endosymbiotic bacteria. Her overall research interests are population genetics, host-parasite coevolutionary relationships, entomology, and disease ecology.
